What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? It's been great finding out about the different setting for gmail, keep, calendar and tabs. I now think I can customize my google app to my needs. I have also found out more information about Hangout. This is going to very useful over the next months

Evening Bronwyn, accessing hangouts through google calendar is a great way to track when you have them scheduled. If school go this way with the issues the world is facing it may be easier to have one link on your website and have it open all day so as students have questions they sign in and ask. Making you readily accessible for the learners.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts on today Bronwyn. It was timely to be able to revisit 'Learn' after our staff meeting . I enjoyed having our amusing conversation about using Hangouts with your class. As you so rightly said, we need to persevere and practice to build up confidence levels. Trying to do a Hangout in our groups today allowed us to experience and understand the frustrations the students must feel learning a new tool.

ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying this new online learning. Manaiakalani is looking into starting up Cohort 2 of the DFI online in a couple of weeks. I hope you will take this opportunity to rejoin. While you won't be expected to start until the third week, it would be beneficial to come in from the beginning to reconnect with the content, as there has been so much happening since we last met up face to face. There will be more information to follow shortly, so please consider this a heads up. I look forward to catching up with you again soon.
